2 My reading break has started and I'm pretty excited. Just watched The Vow last night with two of my high school friends, and had a yummy sushi dinner. My upcoming week is also pretty chill:
MONDAY Stay at home, maybe try to write a few pieces, transcribe some music for piano, learn new guitar chords/practice guitar (haven't done this in a month unfortunately eek) TUESDAY Eat pho with a good friend, and go thrifting! WEDNESDAY Go to Metrotown to buy a pair of creepers, and get new tattoo(s) heheh THURSDAY Back in Langley to write up a few scholarship essays and visit high school FRIDAY Go back to UBC to partyyy

In the process of making a mix CD for my work mates at Honour Roll Express. Of course I do all this instead of study for my Geographical Biogeosciences 102 midterm that's tomorrow. Cannot wait 'til Reading Break, which starts Saturday! A whole week of bliss... and hopefully some fun.
I'm thinking of switching up my skincare routine... Apparently my doctor says I have rosacea. What the...? I'm on a 30-day antibiotics trial and also using some topical gel. BUT he says I can't use moisturizer... huh? (I'm still using it in the mornings, just so my BB cream will go on smoother... and around my lips and nose at night. Don't tell him this, thanks.) I might have to check it out with a dermatologist.
Anybody recommend a nice, gentle cleanser that's not too expensive? I'm willing to pay up to $30 for a good cleanser... Anything for my skin.
There is this need to write and create, but how can you do so when you're sleeping beneath a blanket of words spoken long ago, which were bound and printed in books that each weigh as much as your left arm? And your brain addled with the heavy burden of insignificant details and unmotivatedness?

Choice 1: Skip your morning classes and cram until the midterm. Choice 2: Skip work and cram until the midterm. Choice 3: Skip breakfast and lunch... and cram until the midterm. Choice 4: All of the above.

Hailee Steinfeld was chosen to play the part of Mattie Ross, spunky heroine in True Grit (the film of which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 83rd Academy Awards) out of tens of thousands of girls. She is 15, fresh, and the new face of Miu Miu. The Miu Miu campaign may have stirred up some controversy, but not for the usual reason.
Hailee has been cast as Juliet Capulet in an upcoming adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, a film I'm looking forward to.
Her style is easy, effortless, and very fashion-conscious.
When I was 15, I married my best friend... on Facebook. For the next year or so, I had to explain to everyone that we were not actually dating. In all reality, I had no feelings for him. It was cute to see our names together on a social website, and even cuter to call each other pet names (some endearing, others -- not so much). I couldn't even imagine myself in a real relationship with a boy, though I would fall in love with many at a time.
